Never travel without… my ipad. It fits in my purse, and I can remote into the office if needed. Proved very useful when Atlanta was hit hard by a windstorm. It was a mess. With my mini iPad in hand, I was able to get my sister & I protected on flights the following day.
Top Travel Memory- I have so many, but the best ones are of my time on safari.
On My Bucket List- Machu Picchu, a safari to Victoria Falls & the Okavango Delta, Iceland & any place I can see Northern Lights.
What’s Your Best Foodie Find- Le Soufflé in Paris. I have been to Paris twice, 3 nights each time. I’ve eaten here 3 times. The chocolate soufflé is a must! I recommend it to everyone going to Paris.
Specialization- Ireland- I have been 5 times, I’ve traveled through 26 of it’s 29 counties which includes Northern Ireland. My other love – African safaris. I have been on 3 safaris so far, Kenya, Tanzania & South Africa.
Top Travel Tip- I always tell couples when traveling together to pack some of their clothes in their traveling companion’s suitcases. Should 1 bag get lost/delayed, chances are good you at least have a change of clothes. Scan your passport page with your photo to yourself, or at least keep it in your draft folder. Should your passport get lost or stolen, you have a copy – I speak from personal experience.
Mark H.
Hello there, my name is Mark! I’m here to work with folks to help map out their next unforgettable adventure. I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Throughout my academic career, I was fortunate enough to study throughout the European and Asian continents, traveling extensively in my host nations of Germany and South Korea. I love the opportunity to work with both Europe and Asia. Europe is often described as the “old continent”. Its history, institutions, and traditions are as magnificent as ever and truly worth a lifetime of memories. Asia, to me, is the “timeless continent”. It is truly an eternal atmosphere where you simultaneously feel over 100 years in the past and 20 years in the future at the same time. It brings me great joy to share my expertise and experiences of these unforgettable places with travelers. My hobbies include history, photography, sports, exercise, craftsmanship and volunteering in the community. What’s your dream vacation? I’m here to help!
