Never travel without… My travel pillow
Top Travel Memory: Visiting New Zealand, it exceeded expectations!
On My Bucket List: An African photography safari
What’s Your Best Foodie Find: Eating the evening meal in Spain was an experience. They start about 9pm, aren’t in a hurry, don’t rush you out the door, with the meal often taking two hours minimum.
What are your travel related specialties? I’ve traveled extensively, always trying to go somewhere new. Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, Cruise, Europe, I can help you with it all.
Top Travel Tip: Check and double check everything – dates, paperwork, passport, etc. Most things can be purchased in destination if forgotten, all is not lost. AND “if you don’t fly First Class, your kids will.” – From recently retired clients.

Darlene W.
Hi, I’m Darlene and have been in the travel industry for over 35 years and with Bursch Travel for 7 of them. My destiny to be a travel advisor started when I was 7 years old and my parents took the family to Disney World. From then on I was hooked on flying and learning anything to do with travel.
My formal training was in Kissimmee Florida at Southeastern Academy. Working at AAA, United and Delta Airlines, Delta Vacations, World Wide Travel and Bursch Travel has taught me way more than you can learn in a classroom.
There are so many fantastic places I have travelled to, but going to the Caribbean, Alaska, and Ireland are some of my favorites.
I am a certified Alaska and Caribbean specialist. I have been to all but 4 islands in the Caribbean and haven’t met an island there I didn’t like. If you need someone to help book NASCAR packages, I am quite knowledgeable in many of the tracks and where to stay. Sharing my travel experiences and knowledge help me help you in planning your future vacations.
When i’m not traveling you will find me and my husband enjoying our family and friends, going to NASCAR races, boating or enjoying the mountain streams.

Years in the travel industry: This is my first year with Bursch Travel and I’m excited for the adventure ahead!
Never travel without… hand sanitizer
Top Travel Memory: Going to the Peace Gardens in Canada when we were children.
On My Bucket List: Ireland, Australia, and Germany
What is your favorite destination and why? Alaska Land and Cruise Tour, experienced the best of both the land and sea. Absolutely beautiful.
What’s Your Best Foodie Find: Drago’s in New Orleans
Top Travel Tip: Give yourself plenty of time for any possible delays.
