“Welcome Wing” Attendant – Waite Park, MN

Bursch Travel is seeking a professional and friendly full-time receptionist to join our team in Waite Park. As the first point of contact for our clients, suppliers, and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Provide general information about the company’s services, processes, and policies.
  • Set up virtual client meetings with remote advisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory, order materials, and keep track of stock levels.
  • Assist with filing, photocopying, and other clerical duties as needed.
  • Support staff with ad hoc office duties to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Coordinate with travel consultants and other teams for day-to-day administrative needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of travel management or the travel industry is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

This role will involve data entry, building itineraries, managing invoicing, assisting travel advisors, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in data management, have a strong understanding of travel planning, detail oriented and have excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in travel, hospitality, or administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a support or administrative role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
